Believe it or not but I go to the market in Leuven (Belgium) with my mother-in-law every saturday morning. It’s such a pleasure to stroll here and there from a stall to another and buy some fresh vegetables and fruits. Fortunately I’m with her because otherwise she would buy everything she sees even if she doesn’t need them immediately. After that we go to a café and have a very tasty belgian beer. What I like is a Kriek. It’s a beer brewed with cherries. While sipping my drink, I enjoy looking at the people passing by or strolling at the secondhand market. It’s been founded by my wife’s grandfather in the seventies. If you have time on saturday, don’t forget to make a little detour there, it’s worth the squeeeze.
